Week 7 EOC: The Pitch

I have this idea for a pop-up mobile quesadilla restaurant, basically a food truck, called Queso-Dilla. It is pronounced as Queso pause Dilla. Queso-Dilla will sell mainly quesadillas, cheese between two tortillas, with the option of choosing one or more types of cheeses like: Pepper Jack, Mozzarella, Cheddar, Monterey Jack, and Colby Jack. You’ll even have the option of adding meat like: chicken, beef, or carne-asada for an additional charge. Sour cream, salsa (mild or hot), salsa verde (green sauce), or tomato sauce will be provided for no additional charge. Also, we will offer lettuce and avocado as added optional toppings in your quesadilla. For only $7-$9 dollars you will be able get a regular quesadilla, fries, and agua fresca like: pineapple, mango, watermelon, cantaloupe, tamarind, strawberry, or the most popular horchata. However, we will still offer the common regular soft drinks like: Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Root Beer, Hi-C, tea, etc., and of course water. Plus, since we already have the ingredients for it we will also offer tostadas and tacos, but we mainly sell quesadillas. Depending on the weather we will offer snow cones for only $2-$4 varying in sizes; since, I know the weather in Las Vegas sometimes gets really hot (Caliente!). The food truck will travel to festivals and other special events like: soccer games, school events, convention centers, and private parties. We will set up tables so if you want to sit down as you eat and your more than welcome too. Otherwise, we will wrap-up the quesadillas for standing and eating comfort. We will send out tweets of our locations and invite to come hang out with us. However, if you are at an awesome event, and your just craving a quesadilla then tweet us your location and we might just come to you. #YoQuesoDilla

Week 6 EOC: Me x 3

I was given a Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel Korean Wedding dolls as a gift recently. It was one of those just because I know you would like it gifts.  I was very happy when I receive it and was smiling ear to ear, because I didn’t know Dear Daniel was the male character of Hello Kitty. I don’t obsessively collect Hello Kitty dolls, but actually receive them from close friends and family members. I don’t know, but every time I’m handed a new Hello Kitty doll I’m smiling looking at the small stuffed “child” toy. I get that same feeling of happiness; like, when I was small child and I got a new toy to play with. I realized I gravitate toward things that remind me of the good times of my childhood.

I recently bought myself a pair of red Jordan Eclipse shoes. I bought them because I wanted a new pair of shoes. Unlike, the “black” ones I usually buy and I also wanted something with color. I was looking around Foot Locker when I spotted these Jordan Eclipse. I liked the combination of the prominent red and black with the white sole. They looked minimalistic in their overall appearance. They appeared “futuristic” or more “modern”(for me) than the other shoes in the store. I realized I like things that are different or at least things that not the average person would buy, but minimalistic in appearance.

Not that long ago, I was given an Amazon Gift Card. I know most people would be disappointed about receiving a gift card than a “thoughtful” gift. However, in my case an Amazon Gift card is a great gift. Sometimes It’s not easy to tell someone want you want as a gift. Especially, when you know you rather pick out something you need rather than receiving something you don’t. I bought a couple of books for school with the Gift Card and a few miscellaneous things I wanted to try out. The gift card gives me the power to choose exactly what I want. Also, picking my own gift gives a peace-of-mind to the person who wanted to get me something that I really wanted. I like the convenience of getting what I want without overwhelming or confusing the person who wants to give me something that will not disappoint me.
